I’m Paula, and I started Sweet Revenge over 8 years ago dissatisfied with corporate life, and wanting to make my own way in the world. Having a love for food and flavour it was an easy decision to start a cakery! I believe in using the best locally sourced sustainable ingredients, handling them with care and love so you get a fresh product that’s delicious to the last bite.

After a few years of using my family and friends as guinea pigs while I perfected my recipes, I was ready to start. Luckily, at the same time the Food Act was changed and home-based businesses were a possibility. I was one of a few small home-based businesses that acted as test cases for MPI, testing the new Food Act rules and their new Food Control Plans. After getting registered I haven’t looked back.

At our stall at Riverside Market, in the Christchurch CBD you'll find our slices of Cakes, Eclairs, Truffles, Confectionery and a Gluten free range growing in popularity. One thing is for sure, our treats are generous, flavorsome and memorable!

 We may have started out as just one person, but now there is a small team dedicated to providing and serving you delicious treats!

We are a small team of six at Sweet Revenge; working from either our Kitchen Bakery, or from our beloved stall at Riverside Market. 

 

We are here to keep your sugar levels up and are super excited that we can get food to the people!

Amellia & Paula will be in the kitchen, having fun creating your goodies. They will also be your delivery angels.

Jim, Krizia & Emily will be serving you at Riverside Market.

Ruchika also serves you at the Riverside Market, and runs our social media; creating some fun promotions for you all to take part in. 

She will largely be the person replying to your Facebook & Insta questions or comments.
